Kali turned 5 this fall and LOVES to play with her kitchen. The problem with a 5 year old playing with a kitchen is that the plastic ones are so small. So mom approached me about making her a big girl kitchen. It took some time to find just the right piece of furniture, so thank goodness they were patient with me!! When mom asked her what her favorite part of her little plastic kitchen was, she said the light. So an over sink light sweet girl shall have!

Halle aka Dear Old Friend
Halle, our Dear Old Friend, has been hanging around our shop for quite some time waiting for her family to be ready for her :-). We have become friends with her and were especially sad to see this one go. She has had more accessories sprayed for her than we can count and as new things have come our way we would change our minds. We don't get our hands on too many of these "fridge" furniture pieces, but excited it is going to this family. It was time for her to move out and onto being played with before we changed our minds, AGAIN! We are so happy her family is home and settling back in to life here in Niceville!

Cradle and a Chair
Creative name for a post huh? What can I say, I am tired! We took a couple of antique pieces over to Reruns 4 Wee Ones recently. First is a rocking chair we found at an estate sale. Aside from some sanding to get the loose paint off, we did nothing other than wax this chair.
This cradle was hand made and aside from being old, you can tell it was made with love!

Dreamer
This kitchen was dropped off at Brocante. We LOVE doing kitchens as our own design. This little gem has been floating around in our heads for a while. So here she is - Dreamer.
Miller Ann
Apparently we forgot to post about Miller Ann! Where was my head - oh yeah, packing to leave for Christmas :-). This little love is one that I will honestly keep on my favorites list. We always say, this one is my new favorite, but, truly, this one will always remain in my top favorites list!!

Zen
I brought this fabric back from Korea and have been dying to use it! It has a very asian feel, hence the name Zen. Plus while working on the mad dash of kitchens we had to find some zen to keep from FREAKING OUT! Ok, really though, it has been such a pleasure to work on all these Christmas presents!
The fridge will probably get a metal sheet in the doorway after the holidays. It was on my radar then somehow completely dropped off. Sigh.
Forget Me Not
Yeah, there are no forget me nots in the fabric of this piece, but the blue, for some reason, really drew our eyes down to the bottom. So, Forget Me Not it is!
Emory
We always tell people these kitchens are kid tested and we are serious! Piper was determined to play with Miss Emory's kitchen while she was in her photo session yesterday. This piece went to an adorable family that was leaving town. They did Christmas early and I cannot wait to hear what their little one thinks!!
Love this sweet little spoon with a flower

Meal Time for Dolly
I originally bought this chair to refinish for my daughter. She is a little young and with a move pending next summer I decided someone could probably enjoy it sooner and possibly as a Christmas gift. It is pink underneath and where it is distressed that peaks through. I just love the way it turned out and, honestly, almost didn't take it down to Brocante. Buuuuut, I will find Miss P another chair to refinish when the time is more appropriate. I just hope someone takes it home for the holidays :-).
